This group leads worship through praising God with their voices. They practice on scheduled Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm and sing 2-3 Sundays per month. All those high school age and older are welcome.
Musicians use their gifts in many ways during worship. Soloists and instrumentalists play and sing individually as well as participate in ensembles. Instrumentalists include organists, pianists, Praise Team Band, Flute Choir, Brass Ensemble, Chamber Ensemble, and more.
Our Praise Teams, consisting of singers and instrumentalists, rotate leading worship at Brookside throughout each month. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings.
This Team assists with the audio visual aspect of worship and other events. Sound technicians monitor lights and sound while operators project song lyrics, as well as pictures, on the screen.
A warm greeting and assistance finding a seat are great ways to begin worship. Teams of volunteer ushers are in place to welcome and seat worshippers each Sunday.
Visual Arts in Worship Team
Volunteers gifted with creativity assist with visuals that enhance our worship experience using color, banners, flowers and other art forms.
Worship Planning Teams
Volunteer Teams assist with planning worship that integrates music, Scripture, and visual arts in a powerful way. These teams participate primarily during Advent and Lent.
Brooksiders lead in worship by praying and reading Scripture. Gifted individuals are scheduled to participate regularly during morning and evening services.
